Coming from a long history of successful business and also a background in fixed-wing ultralights, Bob founded Paratoys in the "early years" of our sport. 

While others were skeptical that the potential for a profitable enterprise was even possible in the fledgling sport of powered paragliding, he has certainly proven the skeptics wrong.  Paratoys (www.paratoys.com) manufacturers and sells more PPG equipment than any other North American company and may well be the leader worldwide.

His contributions to the methods used to train PPG pilots are extensive and have improved both the safety and efficiency of teaching new participants in our sport. Bob is an ASC BFI,USPPA certified PPG Instructor.

Bob also pioneered powered paragliding flyins and continues to produce one of the most popular events annually.  Simply called "Paratoys" it's a "can't miss" tradition for many, many pilots.

Along with Jeff Goin and Michael Purdy, Bob co-hosted The Powered Paragliding show for many years. You can find a large number of show archives here.

Last, but not least, Bob put on one of the first PPG adventure tours in 2006 taking twelve PPG pilots to Costa Rica. By all accounts it was a huge success.
